What Do You Desire?

What is desire?

A desire, in my opinion, is just a higher level of emotional state than a want. Desire is a strong want that appears or may even feel similar to a need.

For Ex…

Highly successful business people and professional athletes did not need to become as successful as they are today. They aspired (desired strongly) to be the best or one of the best at what they did. It could have been motivated by the money they expected to make, the fame they expected to gain, or simply a passion for what they were doing, but it was not a necessity or a need to do it.

But..it could not have been just a simple want. It was desire that drove them to complete the necessary tasks to become successful. Simply wanting something will not propel you to success. Many people want to be millionaires, but there is no action to back up their wants. However, if they truly desired it, it would be evident in their actions. Where is your urge, drive, or determination to back up your wants?

Can a Need be a Desire?

What you need may not be what you desire. You may need a job, but you may not be able to get the job you desire right now. This can be attributed to a variety of factors, the most important of which are education, training, and knowledge. As a result, you must accept whatever job you can find at the time. This applies to many aspects of life. You may desire a house but have to settle for an apartment. You may desire a luxury car but have to settle for whatever you can afford.

However… Your desires do not just go away. You do what you have to do for the time being, but as long as you desire something better, you will be motivated and driven to get it.

The Big Picture: The word "desire" is just one of many words in the English language. For this article, “desire” is equivalent to another English word called “passion.”

Many synonyms exist for desire, and cliches involving the word "dream" can effectively replace it... Follow your dreams, for example! "Follow your dreams" can easily be translated as "Follow your desires" or "Follow your passion."

The question is, can your desire be something you need? If you are unique and your desires or passions differ from those of many others, could your desires be a sign of something you need to do or pursue? From a spiritual standpoint, I believe the answer is yes. However, in order to truly determine whether your desires or passions are things you need to do or pursue, you must have a high level of awareness.

What do you desire?

There are several philosophical and religious theories, types, and roles on the word Desire. Whatever position you take, it all comes down to what you believe or feel it means to you.

This acticle was not intended to cover all of the various interpretations of the word “desire.” It was created to emphasize the significance of knowing, identifying, and comprehending your desires.

It makes no difference whether the desire is material or non-material, personal or professional. What matters is how frequently you take the time to understand them.

A Bigger Picture: Your senses are guided by your desires. The senses provides the mind with information, which influences its beliefs. Reason is the mental mechanism responsible for establishing order in one's thinking. When reason is guided by the soul, it operates at its highest potential. Through meditation, it is possible to train reason and the mind to hear and follow the soul's instructions. Meditation can help you to raise your awareness to higher levels of consciousness, which will assist you in understanding your soul's desire.

The Importance of Identifying Your Desires

All spiritual journeys are self-discovery and self-mastery journeys. Therefore, understanding the reasons behind your desires will help you better understand who you are. You can learn more about your life and its potential future with this knowledge.

Create And Set Your Desires

Time to manifest! If you really want something but lack confidence in your ability to obtain it, strengthen your confidence by expressing your desire through Affirmations!

Affirmations are a powerful creation tool. The objective is to recite daily and repeatedly to reprogram your subconscious. Your actions and thoughts will reflect the new programming once your subconscious has accepted it.

Begin your affirmation by stating what you desire and then declare who you are.

For instance, I Desire to be Great. I AM Great!

Remember, you are a creator. What you deeply desire drives your actions and shapes your future!
